Map & Directions

From Yass/Canberra

Wee Jasper Station is easy to find once you've made it to Wee Jasper village.

Go through the village, past the school and turn left at the intersection. You are now on Wee Jasper Road and travelling South.

Go past the Community Hall and the church on your left.

Approximately 2km down the road on your left you will see Wee Jasper Homestead and the Garden Cottage. Drive into Wee Jasper Station homestead main entrance, turn left before you reach the stone wall and then turn right - as the road turns right and you will see the Garden Cottage.

For the Jackaroo Cottage skip the Homestead entrance and 100 meters further up the main road to the left is a set of double gates. Drive through them and follow the dirt road for 150 meters. Behind the machinery shed you will see the Jackaroo Cottage to your right.

To get to the Shearers' Quarters continue past the two driveways on Wee Jasper Road and you will see the Shearing Shed and Shearers' Quarters on your left about another 1km.

If you get to Nottingham Road, you have gone too far.

If you are coming from Tumut, you turn left at the Nottingham Road intersection towards Wee Jasper, the Shearers' Quarters is the first driveway on your right.  One kilometre further is the entrance to the Jackaroo Cottage and another 100 meters further following the main road is the Garden Cottage entrance both also on your right. The Garden Cottage entrance is the same entrance as the Wee Jasper Station Homestead.

  • From Canberra via Uriarra Crossing, Fairlight Road and Mountain Creek Road the road is 100% sealed road.

  • The road from Tumut is about 50% unsealed.

  • Please note there is no fuel available at Wee Jasper, and no shop - nearest shopping is Yass 52km.
